SVA Community Mitten Booth at Saline Farmers Market
Help us spread warmth—one cozy pair of mittens at a time!
Salt Valley Arts is looking for one volunteer per weekend to staff our Community Mittens table at the Saline Indoor Farmers Market. It’s an easy, feel-good way to support Saline Area Social Service and be help spread the word about Salt Valley Arts where art, friendship, and community spirit come together.
What You’ll Do
• You'll be paired with one of our Board Members.
• Help set up the mitten display (arrive by 8:30 AM)
• Chat with shoppers, share the story behind the mittens, and Salt Valley Arts
• Invite them to join us for Open Studio Fridays or to explore our Artistic Interest Groups (fiber arts, writing, and more).
• Tell them about our other Community Service projects (fidget mats & Thanksgiving Cards) that give back to Saline.
• Stay until 1:00 PM when the market wraps up
• Enjoy a morning surrounded by art, community, and good vibes
• Bring your own folding chair so you can sit comfortably
There are so many ways to create with us and your friendly presence at the booth helps people discover them!
