Donated 100+ Ornaments!
Salt Valley Arts donated over 100 hand made Christmas ornaments to the Evangelical Homes of Michigan Foundation (EHM), the parent of Brecon Village. In turn, they are given to those who donate and are also sold during the holidays to benefit EHM.

$10 Hat & Headband Class
Our own Nancy Miller led this class in October 2024 where participants made either a hat or headband. Wool scraps and fleece lining provided for $10 class fee.

World Art Day
Salt Valley Arts celebrated World Art Day together in person and online. We gathered together at Dan’s in Saline, to appreciate this awesome community of volunteers dedicated to inspiring individuals to explore and express their unique creativity. Lynn organized the event, Cathy brought the games, Helen & Kelly won door prizes, and a great time was had by all.
On our Facebook Page we shared with the world the art, friendship and volunteerism that makes up Salt Valley Arts.

Masquer-aide Challege
This community wide Masquer-aide Challenge donated all entry fees to the Taylor Jacobsen Art Scholarship Fund of the Saline Leadership Institute. Taylor Jacobsen was a well loved Saline art educator. The Taylor Jacobsen Art Scholarship Fund was established by the Saline Leadership Institute in his memory to provide access to art classes through Saline Social Services.
Artists paid a $10 entry fee to create art inspired by their interpretation of the word MASK. A Reveal Party was then held to reveal the artists that created each piece. Guests were encouraged to create wearable masks at the party to get into the fall spirit. Artwork was on display from October 10 through November 9, 2022.
