The Cake Eaters group and the Evangelical Home residence are creating and making mittens using donated recycled wool sweaters. It's been a great community effort headed by Nancy Miller. The mittens will be donated to the to Social Services to benefit those in need of winter warmth.
The Ann Arbor Fiber Arts Guild has created a beautiful quilt for fundraising. The quilt was a group effort incorporating the glue resist dying method. The Ann Arbor Fiber Guild meets every third Tuesday from 6:30pm - 8:00pm in the SVA Meeting room, bring hand work.

We CakeEater Artists are most grateful for our new home at the (Evangelical Homes of Michigan) EHM facility. Regrettably, Denise Robidoux, CEO was not able to be present for the transfer of keys. An assistant was present to welcome us. In appreciation, Sue McDowell gave a gift of flowers to Denise's assistant.
