WORKSHOP GUIDELINES

​Workshop Instructors agree to:

  1. Be a member of Salt Valley Arts.

  2. Sign Workshop Instructor Agreement.

  3. Work with the Workshop Committee to set date and time for the workshop.

  4. Supply all items needed to complete the project.

  5. Set the price per participant of the workshop.

  6. Donate $5 per participant to Salt Valley Arts to cover administration fees.

  7. Give Members of Salt Valley Arts a $10-$15 discount on the cost of the workshop.

  8. Determine the minimum number of people required to conduct the workshop.

  9. Determine the maximum number of participants not to exceed 12 people.

  10. Appoint someone to act as Alternate Instructor who will lead the workshop if the original Instructor is unable to do so.

 

Advertising for Workshops will be through the Salt Valley Arts website, email list, Facebook page and SVA Inspiration Facebook Group.  Instructors may also advertise the workshop on their social media and groups.

 

Fees will be collected online on the Salt Valley Arts website, or paid in-person with cash or check at current group meetings.

The Workshop Committee will:​

  1. Approve all workshops, items demonstrated, instructors and fees.

  2. Require potential Instructors to sign Workshop Instructor agreements.

  3. Work with Instructor to set date and time for the workshop.

  4. Provide advertisement for upcoming workshops.

  5. Will note in all advertising the fee includes a $5 donation to Salt Valley Arts.

  6. Collect all fees for workshops.

  7. Pay the Instructor the amount owed, minus $5 per person.

  8. Supply Instructors with proper paperwork, including tax forms.​
