Crafternoon, Sunday, November 13th was a Hit!


Crafternoon! in the Salt Valley Arts space was a big hit with all the attendees. We hope to make this a holiday tradition at the SVA!

The event was held on Sunday, Nov. 13th, from 1-4pm.

There were six stations, each with a Salt Valley Arts / Saline Community Ed artists sharing one of their special projects in the new art space Salt Valley Arts at EHM at 440 W. Russell St, Saline.

  • Nancy Miller guided taught her classes to make a set of 3 scented moisturizing sugar scrubs, yum!

  • Jean Canavan (Salt Springs Brewery - Brushes & Brew) brought out their inner painter in a cute holiday themed canvas door hanger.

  • Christy Howden brought her supply of felt balls (as featured in HGTV magazine) for attendees to assemble custom felt ball garlands perfect for a fireplace mantel or to add some cheer to a kitchen window.

  • Val Mann showed attendees how to create this one of a kind shibori dyed silk scarves.

  • Sue McDowell brought fused glass ornaments that attendees painted to create fantastic fused glass ornaments.

  • Kelsey Keyes taught her groups how to create wire ring and finger midi with all sorts of wire and baubles that made them so unique.
